Seminar Groups are, in our view, the form of academic exchange that conferences cannot supply. Conferences are intense and finite; the groups, by contrast, are designed for continuity. Ideas, on closer inspection, require both: a meeting at which they are announced and a regular interval at which they are tested.

How participation tends to deepen.

Where your local setting allows, you may, as an Ambassador, organise viewing groups and convene the seminars within your own institution. Sustained contribution to the Seminar Groups is, in our experience, one of the more reliable routes to the invitation-only Fellowship, which carries access to our private seminars and direct correspondence with our speakers.
